Melody of Silence
The symbolic meaning of the binding of Isaac becomes the basis for this modern theatrical performance, as the Galicia Jewish Museum becomes transformed into a mystical space in one which can hear the language of silence surrounding the memories of tragic events.
This multimedia performance concludes the unique Midrash Theatre project – Israeli avant-garde theatre workshops – which combined creative study of traditional Jewish text with their stage interpretation.
The spectacle is an independent project of Rabbi Tanya Segal and a group of Krakow’s artists and members of the Jewish community of Krakow
